Welcome to the new school year and all the challenges a fresh year brings. This issue of The Clipboard incorporates the change of editors from President Ken Lupole to myself, assisted by Vince DeCerchio and Lee Struble. This edition will highlight the Saratoga Springs Annual
Conference in June. Thanks again to Dennis, Larry, Lori and for Skidmore College, and all the fine staff who helped make it a huge success. Also thanks to Mike Byrne, from Syracuse University for supplying numerous photographs of the various activities related to the conference, which you will see throughout this issue.

As the new editor of The Clipboard, I hope to continue the flow of valuable and pertinent information and maintain the close kinship that we foster as an association. To achieve this goal, I would like to solicit and encourage correspondence and articles of general interest for publication from our members, for our members.

There are a number of methods to send articles, hard copy through the mail, an electronic copy on a disc, an e-mail with an attachment (preferably in a Word document) to mccarthy@sjfc.edu, or a fax at (585) 385-8341. Any questions please call me at (585) 385-7315.

Finally, this publication is the first edition to have advertisements. Please make a special effort to support those vendors who are supporting our association.
