Good of the Order

Mike McCarthy stated that he had sent a card on behalf of NECUSA to George Baron on the passing of his wife

2010 Conference

Dennis Conway reported the following on the status of the 2010 conference to be held in Saratoga Springs NY

The speakers are set- there is one open slot to fill there was discussion of having one of the following to fill t he last slot

Bo Mitchell
Joyful Heart
Healy and Margolis

Dennis has signed the contract for the Monday night boat trip and is working with local colleges on transportation/handouts

He has contacted hotel concerning meeting about the menu, if unable to nail down exact costs will adjust based on income

Professional Development

Tom Horan discussed the three power points and pricing was set at $125 per person, three or more would be discounted to $100 per person.

The following dates and locations were scheduled

• 1/7/10 Western PA hosted by Tom Horan location TBA
• 1/11/10 Philadelphia PA hosted by Jim Bonner/Arcadia
• 1/12/10 Connecticut hosted by Neil McLaughlin/Western Ct State Univ.

Neil will work on flyer and send out soon for review

Other Business

Neil McLaughlin gave a review of the hotel at Mt Snow Vermont which was visited by Neil, Dennis and Mike. This site was considered favorable including more than adequate facilities and pricing, possible site for 2012. Crown Plaza in Cromwell Ct will be review this week as possible site for 2013

Timon Linn also discussed room/meal needs for the 2010 winter board meeting. Meeting to start Saturday at 9:00am

Tom Horan stated that clipboard should be out in two weeks
