Membership Information

NECUSA has become an organization that is more than merely the sum of its parts. It has the culture of a large ex-tended family in which members may go for long periods of time with no contact but can pick up the telephone at any time and be received warmly by the person on the other end.

In addition to providing professional development opportunities to members, NECUSA places high value on their reputation as a family organization. Conferences offer programs for spouses, partners and children and include them in all social functions. The organization leadership under-stands the demands of the campus law enforcement field and strives to create opportunities to involve family and friends to bridge the gaps that often exist because of the long hours and demanding work.

Member Benefits

  • Conferences — NECUSA hosts annual conferences that provide a multitude of educational opportunities for peer information exchange, allowing attendees to share best practices, gain knowledge, and strengthen partnerships through concentrated programs that save time and money.
  • Networking—Establishing collaborative partnerships that transcend boundaries is a fundamental aspect of NECUSA.
  • Peer Reviews—NECUSA professionals can assist colleges and universities in developing and managing security programs and organizational structures that meet industry standards and best practices among peer institutions from within the region.
  • Partnerships/Professional Development—NECUSA has partnered with D.Stafford & Associates and the National Association of Clery Compliance Officers and Professionals (NACCOP) to bring quality training to active NECUSA members.
